Also, she can be seen in Tyler Perry's cult film, Why Did I Get Married? Perry, Janet Jackson and the independent film Frozen Peas are all starring with her. Elle has also appeared on Shattered! Never Die Alone and American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha chose to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the Bachelor in Fine Arts. She appeared in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatre performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha is also the director of several seasons of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?, and the shorts One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha is also the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and has several other original projects in the works. With the successful release of "Santa Baby" Keesha is creating a full-length album to showcase her beautiful voice.
