Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her roles on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in African-American Studies. At the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in the fields of theater, film and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 before appearing in mainstream, independent as well as television shows. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed show The Book of Negroes. Her professional acting debut with the character Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her credits on stage include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In terms of her film career Her most well-known roles are Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. In the world of television, her character in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
